God cares. It’s just that simple. He is never too busy for you. He is never bored with you. He is never tired of you. He cares.
You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. Psalm 56:8 NLT
He keeps track of your tears and records each one in His book. He remembers. He cares enough to remember. The amount of hairs on your head are considered important enough for Him to know. He cares to know.
Never! Can a mother forget her nursing child? Can she feel no love for the child she has borne? But even if that were possible, I would not forget you! Isaiah 49:15
If God cared this much for Jerusalem, how much does He care for you? In other words, can He forget His prized possession? YOU! Does He have to be reminded of His masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10)? Nope. Why? Because He cares.
God cares. He cares about you. He cares about me. He cares enough to remember. He cares enough to know the things that you don’t even care to know about. God loves you enough to care. So, why don’t we do the same?
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 NIV
God cares about your emotions and feelings. He cares about your anxiety, your mental and emotional health. We can go to God with all our worries, anxieties, and fears and trust Him with everything. Sometimes, we let pride get in the way. We allow ourselves to think we can handle circumstances that are out of our control. Before too long, we’re so deep in the weeds of anxiety that we don’t know where to turn.
Casting our cares on God is a way of humbling our hearts and saying that we cannot handle everything that is going on in this life. We need God’s help to get us through and we need to allow Him to handle and move in our life. Pride is like unbelief, in that we don’t believe we need help until the weight of it is more than we can handle. God cares about everything in our lives and so we should humble ourselves sometimes and admit that we need Him.
