Week 38

As an adult, at the end of every year, I sit quietly and reflect on God’s blessings. Usually, I take this time to decide on new goals for me both personally and professionally. I usually come to some conclusions about how my life has evolved. Let me also say, it pays to have a sense of humor.

Growing up, my dad was a minister and I often saw him minister to people in various ways. My mom is a nurse and I saw her minister in other ways. However, both gave me lessons in serving others.

God sent His son to this earth to minister to His people. As a child, I saw both of my parents minister to people, both spiritually and physically. My Mother has dedicated her life to healing sick children. In addition, my Dad has helped many find Jesus.

One of our purposes on earth should be about helping others. Today, let us plan our lives to reflect the character of Christ.

God’s Reminder

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 KJV
