But the other criminal protested, “Don’t you fear God even when you have been sentenced to die? We deserve to die for our crimes, but this man hasn’t done anything wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom.” And Jesus replied, “I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:40‭-‬43 NLT

Abundance can often be found where we least expect it.

I’ve visited tiny homes or rooms that hold a ton of cherished memories.

We have all seen that rundown house with the old lady, that always has visitors because she has so much love and wisdom to share.

Often where we see no possibilities, others see everything.

This criminal, on the verge of death, recognized though he failed by society’s standard, there was still ample time to have hope and seek salvation.  He is characterized as a “revolutionary” who literally was about to die for the cause he believed in, right or wrong.

But GOD! Where there’s a heart humble enough to seek forgiveness, eternal life is found!

Many people, with minimal formal education, go on to deliver graduation speeches and train others more highly educated than themselves. Why? Simply because they see something others can’t. They see the possibility in the midst of problems.

I have friends who have grown up extremely impoverished or are first-generation in this country, who have built incredible lives.

Through discipline, a killer work ethic, and a commitment to honoring the Lord, their testimony is a “Level Up”.

Where many see nothing, Christ sees abundance.

The body of Christ is abundant. It has abundant hope, opportunity, healing, forgiveness or whatever your life lacks. Though the world may declare you’re “not enough”, the Kingdom, time and time again, has found more than can be imagined.

Look around a closet, the trunk of a car, or even your pockets.  What do you find?

There’s what it was created for, and then there’s what God might be able to do with it.

This week find 5 God honoring things you can do with something you might have otherwise thrown away.
